Hi there, I’m Gwyneth aka WanderinGwyneth.  What used to be a running joke from friends about wondering where Gwyneth was wandering this month, turned a love of travel into a business! I’ve been an anthropologist for the past 10 years and living and working in Egypt and Morocco for the past 15 years as a professor, a documentary producer, writer, and a National Geographic tour expert. 

After years of friends coming to visit me abroad, I realized I had a knack for showing people the destination sites, the wonders, and the fun off-the-beaten track aspects of my favorite places! I want to take you on a journey where you become more than a tourist – you become a traveler!

I’m inspired by the famous Moroccan explorer Ibn Battuta: “Traveling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. Traveling offers you a hundred roads to adventure, and gives your heart wings!” Travel changes our perspectives, it allows us to tell stories of our adventures, and by going on a trip with WanderinGwyneth it will hopefully dare you to wander more!
